Do internal hemorrhoids from childbirth go away on their own? - internal hemorrhoids

I have painful internal hemorrhoids, have a baby 18 days ago. I'm taking laxatives for 2 weeks and I began to wonder if they disappear by themselves, or when I go into the office of the doctor. Has anyone experience in this area?
